Small renovations and repairs

Kitchens, bathrooms, saunas, surface renovations and individual repairs in Inari and across Lapland. We take small jobs too – there is no minimum job size.

Not every repair calls for a large contract. We carry out small, single-visit jobs carefully and on the agreed schedule. If the scope changes, or something unexpected turns up inside the structures, we tell you and agree how to proceed before starting any additional work.

We itemise labour, materials and other costs clearly on the invoice. That makes claiming the Finnish household tax credit easier where the conditions for it are met.

What the work can include

  • Kitchen renovations and fitted furniture
  • Surface renovations, floors and trim
  • Bathroom and sauna renovations
  • Door and window replacement
  • Terraces, canopies and small garden structures
  • Electrical work alongside the renovation
  • Individual repairs and maintenance

The scope of the work is always agreed to suit the property and what the client wants.

How the work proceeds

  1. Get in touchTell us what needs doing, where the property is and when you would like it finished. Photos help us judge the scope.
  2. Site visitWe visit the property before quoting where that is needed. For small, clearly defined jobs an estimate can also be made from photos and other background information.
  3. QuoteYou get a written quote or cost estimate setting out the scope, the basis for invoicing and the estimated duration.
  4. The workWe agree a time and carry the work out as planned. We keep you informed of progress and clean the work area when the job is finished.

Common questions

Is there a minimum job size?

No. We take individual repairs and short jobs. For small jobs the scope and cost can often be estimated from photos and a brief description.

Can I claim the household tax credit for a renovation?

Many maintenance and improvement jobs in a home or holiday property qualify for the Finnish household tax credit when the Tax Administration's conditions are met. We itemise labour, materials and other costs on the invoice so the credit can be claimed. The Tax Administration decides the final entitlement.

Check the current conditions with the Finnish Tax Administration (vero.fi, in Finnish).

Do you renovate bathrooms and saunas?

Yes. We carry out bathroom and sauna renovations either as a whole or as an agreed part of the work. We do the electrical work ourselves, and arrange HVAC and other specialist trades through our partner network.

How soon can you start?

The start date depends on the scope of the work, the location and our current workload. We give a realistic start date with the quote. Small jobs can often be fitted into the schedule sooner than larger contracts.

Do you do the electrical work alongside the renovation?

Yes. We do electrical installations in-house, so the electrical work can be scheduled as part of the same renovation without looking for a separate contractor.
